

The Corner of Hope and PeaceRain pattered down on Nathan’s bare feet which hung freely between the iron bars of the balcony. Below, the City stretched as far as the eye could see, people bustling about in hurried fashion. Nathan grinned slightly at this. Why the rush? They certainly weren’t getting older, not since science had destroyed the aging process. There were no wars, no enemies, no foreign languages, and with the exception of a few exquisite pieces of furniture, no foreign involvement.
